The San Antonio Corral Club was established in 1994 by a group of friends with a modest ambition to raise funds that enabled the purchase of livestock at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Jr. Livestock Auction. The founders hosted fundraising parties and concerts in an effort to make a difference in the lives of youth involved in agriculture.
Those philanthropic events evolved into what is now the Ring of Fire Ranch Rodeo. SA Corral Club hosted the first Ring of Fire Ranch Rodeo in 2001 which now consists of the Katch 'em for Kids Team Roping, Sponsor Party (with Casino Night and Auction), Live Concert and the Ranch Rodeo.
Today
SA Corral Club, now 180+ members strong, helps to maintain the floor price of the Jr. Livestock Auction. Proceeds resulting from the production of the Ring of Fire Ranch Rodeo weekend are distributed among various projects ensuring that no child goes home without being justly rewarded for their efforts.
During the 2014 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, SA Corral Club supported over 150 Texas youth with the disbursement of $35,000!
Every year blesses us with the ability to increase our support at the Jr. Livestock Auction. 2013 brought us the 12th Annual Ring of Fire Ranch Rodeo and we anticipate another great year supporting youth in agriculture.
